Gifts totaling $2,500 or more in memory of someone will result in that person's name being added to a special memorial plaque at Children's Hospital. Making a gift to the Merriwether-Milhas Fund
The Merriwether-Milhas Fund was established in 1992 through a generous gift from a local family. This fund is used to provide for the needs of families who have children receiving care at Children's Hospital. It has been used to provide everything from meals for parents of hospitalized children, to a therapeutic tricycle for a physical therapy patient, to space heaters for a cystic fibrosis patient living with his mother in an unheated trailer.
