The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides specialized medical care to newborns with problems including pre-maturity, neonatal respiratory distress, infections and congenital anomalies. The 36-bed level III unit has specialized equipment for neonatal cardiorespiratory monitoring and support. Capabilities include conventional and high frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide therapy and ECMO therapy.
